The Bayeux Tapestry

This pack of illustrated playing cards depicts scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry!

The 230 feet (70m)  length of the Tapestry tells the story of the events leading up to the Battle of Hastings and the Norman Conquest of England in 1066.

This beautiful pack of playing cards shows detail from nearly every scene of the Tapestry, in chronological order through the four suits - Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Spades.  There is also some commentary on each card about the scene and mention of the key Royal and political figures of the time.
