Birds of the World

Today’s incredibly diverse assortment of bird life began to evolve well over 100 million years ago. This astoundingly colourful and interesting pack of 54 birds of the world is a glimpse into the wonderful variety of species – from the tiny Bee Hummingbird, which weighs about the same as one of our playing cards, to the Ostrich, our largest bird – much heavier and faster than the average human being!  An indication of size and geographical distribution is given together with common and Latin names.
