History of Transport - Overland

Overland transport began with ‘beasts of burden’ and the development of the wheel.  Very fast gigantic leaps in technology were made and the 19^th century which brought steam powered vehicles, electricity and the internal combustion engine!  These playing cards follow the evolution of overland transport, each including an interesting fact together with dates and reference to inventor and/or origin.
